Celebrate Your Story #207

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hi everyone!  I’m sorry that I’m “late to the party” again.  I wasn’t feeling well yesterday and along with my family responsibilities I just didn’t have the energy to finish the post.  You never know what life is going to throw at you each day!

But I’m feeling better today and my daughter is off to school, so let’s get the party started 🙂

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

DIY Boxwood Style Holiday Tree

DIY Stenciled Holiday Music Sheet Sign

There were so many fabulous links this week!  It was hard to choose just six.  It was great to see a mix of Thanksgiving and Christmas projects in the mix.

Kathryn at The Dedicated House shared her gorgeous entry hall decor.  I love blue and white china, and the way she displayed it against the green walls of the hutch is unexpected and stunning!  I also love the pops of orange.

Kippi from Kippi at Home completely transformed her laundry room into a multifunctional laundry / mudroom / storage room.  It’s amazing what she accomplished in only 6 weeks!  You’ve got to see the before photos.  Plus, the whole family helped with the makeover!

This turkey tureen is a real show stopper!  Beth from Whispers of the Heart shared this festive Thanksgiving tablescape.  I especially love the paisley napkins and green flatware.

Don’t these Holiday Nutmeg Cookies look delicious?  Julie from My Wee Abode shared this yummy recipe just in time for the holidays.  They’d be great for Thanksgiving, too.  There’s a secret ingredient that will surprise you…go check it out!

Marsha of The Little Yellow Corner Store has decorated the porch of her Wisconsin Log Cabin for Christmas, and it looks so cozy and inviting!  She’s even included in her post a recipe for an Apple Buttermilk Pancake in a Skillet.  Yum!!!

CoCo from The Crowned Goat shared her Christmas Inspired Dining Room, and it’s gorgeous!  It reminded me that I need to get some paper whites soon to force for the holidays.  I’m crazy about the ironstone displayed in the hutch with the evergreen garland.  And all of the pops of pink are so pretty.

The most clicked link of the week is from Pamela of DIY Vibes.  She shared these twine pumpkins that are so cute and so easy to make.  Don’t have colored twine?  Pamela will show you how to dye your own!

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!
