Hi there!  I’m so glad you stopped by!  I hope this blog will inspire you to be creative and to have fun decorating your home.

A little about me…

I live in Connecticut with my husband and young daughter.

I don’t attest to be an expert at anything – I just love to decorate, craft and sew.  People have told me I have a good eye for decor, and it’s pretty much on my mind all of the time.

I’m a bit of a hoarder as I frequent estate sales and thrift shops and find it hard to pass up vintage treasures or craft supplies lol!

I have a master’s degree in social work, and I was employed as a Social Worker for 15 years before my daughter was born.

My dog weighs more than I do! (he’s an Irish Wolfhound). He’s like a ginormous teddy bear.

I’m clumsy and always covered with bruises.

I’m a Christian, an introvert and a homebody.

My weaknesses are rum raisin ice cream, carrot cake and frozen peppermint patties.

My craft room is my happy place 🙂

I never thought I’d have children, then (at the age of 40) I was blessed with my daughter.  I truly believe she is a miracle and a gift from God and my mom in heaven.
