Celebrate Your Story! #208

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hey everyone! Welcome back to Celebrate Your Story! Are you all ready for Thanksgiving? We’re having a small family meal this year. I’m planning to purchase the turkey and ingredients for the side dishes tomorrow. I always look forward to this traditional meal (and the leftovers!)

I didn’t have a lot going on with the blog this past week, but coming up on Saturday I’ll be participating in my first Christmas Tree Blog Hop, hosted by my friend Michelle from Our Crafty Mom. Be sure to stop by to see 40 trees decorated by some talented bloggers!

As this is the last party before Thanksgiving, I featured posts that relate to the holiday. I’m grateful that you choose to attend this party and share your inspiring work. I’d like to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving 🙂

Are you going to be a guest at Thanksgiving? Cindy from Country Road 407 shared these flavored butters that make excellent hostess gifts. One is savory and the other is sweet. You’ll want to make some for yourself, too!

Are you the hostess this year? Rita from Panoply has you covered with her top tips for hosting a large gathering. As a bonus, she’s included beautiful photos from her Fall and Thanksgiving tablescape archives.

Our Thanksgiving table isn’t complete without a sweet potato casserole, and this one from Julie of This Gal Cooks looks amazing! What makes it unique is the pecan, brown sugar and cinnamon streusel. Yum!

Jolena from While I Linger shared lovely photos of her home decorated for Fall and Thanksgiving. You just have to read the story of how she inherited her great grandmother’s turkey transferware and the dear memories they invoke.

There has to be at least one healthy dish on the Thanksgiving table. How about these sautéed green beans with mushrooms from Erin of Delightful E Made? I usually make mine with almonds, but I love mushrooms and plan to give this a try.

I couldn’t resist this gorgeous embroidery hoop wreath from Carrie of French Blue Cottage. Can you believe she taught herself how to embroider by watching a YouTube video? I love how she made it a Fall Wreath with the acorns and wheat, but it’s versatile enough for any season.

Once again, Pamela from DIY Vibes has the most clicked post of the week! How cute are these mini embroidery hoop ornaments? Head over to her blog to learn how to make your own.

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!
