Celebrate Your Story! #268

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hello sweet friends! Last week we had a big snowstorm, and then we got hit with more snow yesterday. Plus, we have more expected tomorrow and on Thursday! I’m officially tired of winter and can’t wait for spring. Anyway, it’s time to start working on spring content for the blog, and I’m more than ready! Are you still enjoying winter, or are you looking forward to spring? I’d love to know! Happy Valentine’s Day to you all 🙂

Here’s what I was up to last week:

Valentine’s Day in Paris Romantic Tablescape

Now, let’s party! There’s still plenty of Valentine’s Day inspiration to enjoy!

Melanie from Southern Crush at Home made this cute Valentine’s Day decor with wood blocks from Dollar Tree, valentine napkins and Mod Podge. It’s perfect for styling vignettes or tiered trays. I love the mix of patterns!

I’m loving this Winter White and Frosty Green Tablescape from Lori of Dining Delight! This could be used all winter long. The mini heart dish on the plate stack provides a subtle nod to Valentine’s Day.

How sweet is this button heart from Niky of The House on Silverado? What makes it extra special is that she crafted the sign from buttons that came from her mother’s sewing room. I love the XOXO that she burned into the wood!

I made a version of potato chip cookies for a holiday cookie swap several years ago, and they were a hit! Amy from Heritage Home Ec shared her own potato chip cookie recipe, so I’ll definitely be making some soon. Bonus – her recipe has only 5 ingredients and is super easy to make!

MaryJo from Masterpieces of my Life shared some lovely Valentine’s home decor ideas. I love this table setting with the old books, flower frogs and bingo card on an elevated silver tray. Those wood slices painted with chalkboard paint also caught my eye!

This has got to be the coziest ever Valentine’s Day table for two! I love the furry throw and velvet chargers. Check out how Rita from Panoply styled this tablescape in front of her fireplace.

The most clicked link of the week is from Wendy of My French Twist. She created a practical and stylish beaded mask chain. This is a great way to keep track of your mask when out and about!

  1. Rebecca, thank you so much for the feature of our Party of Two, Please. I had no intentions of motivating Old Man Winter to further complicate going out, but it looks as though that snow is heading even our way in the Mid-Atlantic – ugh!
Lori’s table is adorably winter, yet so inviting. That’s the kind of white out I can tolerate! I love Wendy’s chain. I need one of those!
