Celebrate Your Story! #267
Celebrate Your Story! Link Party
Welcome back, friends! We had quite a snow storm yesterday. My daughter’s virtual school was cancelled for two days! There was time spent outside playing in the snow and warming up inside with hot cocoa. I’m glad the schools kept up the tradition of having snow days even for the kids taking virtual classes. We needed some sense of normalcy during this strange time in our lives.
Here’s what I was up to last week:
Now, let’s get the party started!
How pretty is this mosaic ball from Jeanne of Selep Imaging? She made it with a bowling ball and broken china. It would look so lovely in a garden!
I love this simple heart wreath from Cindy of Country Road 407. It’s easy to make and blends in nicely with her everyday farmhouse decor.
Kristi from Mulch and Paint shared some great DIY bird feeder ideas. Store bought bird feeders can be so expensive! These are great crafts to make with the kids, too.
These cinnamon rolls from Lisa of Drugstore Divas look amazing! I’m intrigued by her two ingredient dough recipe. I’ll be making some for my family soon!
Sandra from Dinner at Eight styled the cutest winter tablescape featuring snow drifts and birds. I love the plaid linens and berries. Visit her blog to see each of the six unique bird plates!
I just love this upcycled clock that Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S turned into a shadow box. She lined it with music sheets and filled it with tiny books. She also filled it with yarn wrapped hearts. The possibilities are endless!
The most clicked link of the week is this sweater mitten tutorial from Helen of Hello Sewing. I can’t resist a thrift store upcycle, especially when it’s this cute and useful. I love those hearts!

Thank you for featuring my sweater mittens, Rebecca. It’s lovely to hear you liked them so much.
My readers loved them and asked for a lined pair of mittens with a cuff. So I came up with a pattern for these adorable fur lined fleece mittens here https://hellosewing.com/free-fleece-mitten-pattern/
