Celebrate Your Story! #226

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome back, friends!  I hope you all had nice, although different, Easter and Passover holidays with your families.  I know this will be a year that we’ll never forget, that’s for sure!  I made the best of it by keeping up our tradition of dying eggs and having an egg hunt outside.  The bunny also made it to our house, but with a few non-traditional items in the basket, lol!

Here’s what I was up to last week:

DIY Leaf Placemats for Spring and Summer Tablescapes

Now, time to party!

This DIY nest from Paula of Sweet Pea is so fabulous! She used shredded paper bags as a base and added natural elements for a realistic look. Plus, it costs next to nothing to make one!

Ani from All That Life Stuff has perfected the art of biscuit making! She also shares how to make delicious gravy to go along with them. Yum!

Patrick from Adventures in Weseland must’ve read my mind…I’ve been dreaming of the day I can go junking again! He shared photos from the Oakland Museum’s White Elephant Sale in early March. Oh, how I wish I was there right now!

Christine from The DIY Dreamer made these adorable rings from flower cabochon stickers. What a great craft for the kiddos! Bonus – there’s only three supplies needed!

There’s nothing like creating something from items in your craft stash. That’s just how Debbie from Debbie Dabble Blog made these sweet Easter Baskets. She painted peat pots and added trimmings from her collection. I adore the vintage graphics!

Key Lime Coconut Parfait anyone? Annie from Annie’s Home shared this scrumptious recipe. I know I’m ready to dig in!

The most clicked link of the week is from Lori of Dining Delight. Her pastel Easter tablescape for two is just lovely. While it’s Spring inside, I was shocked by the amount of snow outside the window!

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!
