Celebrate Your Story! #262

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hey friends! Welcome to the last party before Christmas! I’m going to take a short break from my blog to focus on enjoying the holiday with my family. With no church services to attend and the cancellation of our annual family Christmas Eve party, it will be a quiet, but cozy, celebration. I wish you and your families a safe and happy holiday!

Now, let’s check out some last minute Christmas ideas!

Diane from South House Designs made these pretty bleached and frosted pinecone tassels. I love how the clear glitter sparkles like snow. Now I need to learn how to bleach pinecones!

This snowman cake just makes me smile! Marsha from The Little Yellow Corner Store created it to compliment her snowman themed tablescape. The whole presentation is just adorable!

This mantel is lovely with the dramatic garland. It was designed by Jolena from While I Linger. What grabbed my attention is the “fire” drawn on chalkboard in the fireplace!

Looking for another Christmas cookie recipe? Theresa from Shoestring Elegance shared her recipe for Almond Florentines. These cookies are somewhat sophisticated, yet not that difficult to bake!

Guess what this star ornament is made from? Seashells dipped in glitter! Deb from Dragonfly Treasure came up with this clever craft. I love the pearl in the middle.

Jenna from The Painted Apron shares the most delicious recipes! This time it’s a Christmas salad with strawberries, almonds, blood oranges and asparagus wrapped with bacon. Yum!

The most clicked link of the week is from Patrick of Adventures in Weseland. He went in search of some Christmas cheer during a pandemic. In spite of many places being closed, he still found some festive displays!
