Celebrate Your Story! #281

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day! We had family visit from Florida (all vaccinated) and it was wonderful to enjoy a small gathering at home. I made my favorite potato salad recipe and we grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for the first time this season. There were lots of laughs and hugs. For me, getting back to a little bit of normal was the best Mother’s Day gift ever!

I was happy to see some newcomers to the party this week as well as some friends that I haven’t seen in a while. I appreciate you all for stopping by 🙂 Let’s party!

Olivia from Olivia Ohern created the coolest pot for her succulent plant. This plain terra cotta pot got a modern makeover with chalk paint and a paint marker. Olivia painted the design free hand…it looks so chic and high end!

I adore this Mother’s Day tablescape from Marsha of The Little Yellow Corner Store. It’s so unique with it’s sewing, knitting, crochet and embroidery theme in honor of Marsha’s mother. I especially love the bowls filled with sewing notions and the colorful table topper sewn from quilters fat quarters.

Have you ever heard of Peach Cobbler Cookies? Me either, until now! Cindy from Cindy’s Online Recipe Box shared this easy and yummy recipe. I can’t wait to make some!

I can’t resist a thrift store makeover. Lynne from My Family Thyme painted over dated canvas artwork and created these fabulous Farmhouse Signs with her Cricut. You’ve got to see how they looked before!

Just in time for Mother’s Day, Tiffany from Tee Diddly Dee shared a heartwarming story about the duck that lives in her chicken coop who she named “Little Mallard”. The duck had nine ducklings, and Tiffany has captured on film the first two weeks of their life, including learning to swim and catching bugs. They are so cute and cuddly!

The original founder of this link party, my friend Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate, shared her fun Bee Skep tutorial! These are perfect for spring and summer decor. I love the bows with bees and polka dots!

The most clicked link of the week is from Wendy of WM Design House. She hosted a class where a group of ladies created these adorable bird’s nests in vintage chair springs. I love that each one came out differently!
