Celebrate Your Story! #232

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome back, friends.  It was a quiet Memorial Day here.  In the past, we’d go to a parade and have a family cook out.  I did reflect on the true meaning of the day and said a prayer of gratitude for the men and women who gave their lives for our country.  I hope you all had a pleasant day with your families, as well.

I mentioned last week that I’ve been doing live crafting videos over on Facebook.  As many of this party’s guests are bloggers, we’d love to have you join us!  If you’re interested in hosting a Facebook live video, go to our Craft and Chat Live Facebook page and sign up for next week.

Now, on with the party!

This European Farmhouse Mirror Makeover from CoCo of The Crowned Goat is just gorgeous!  I just love how she accentuated the carved details.  You’ve got to see the before photos!

Got a chocolate craving?  These Cake Mix Fudge Crinkle Cookies from Michelle of Blessings By Me are sure to leave you satisfied.  Plus, there’s only five ingredients!

Allyson from Southern Sunflowers brought this plastic planter that was destined for the trash pile back to life with paint.  It’s so bright and cheerful now!  I love the polka dots 🙂

I’ve been making masks using one pattern for healthcare workers and another for family and friends. Helen from Hello Sewing shared this style which is easy to make, has a filter pocket and can be customized to fit different facial sizes. I’m going to try this one out next!

Looking for a healthy snack? Theresa from Theresa Gentile RD is a Registered Dietician who creates nutritious and tasty foods on her blog. I want to try these flaxseed crackers with my homemade hummus. Yum!

Many people are experiencing financial hardships due to the pandemic. Lisa from Drugstore Divas shared some useful tips to help save money at the grocery store. I’m definitely going to try making my own pickles!

The most clicked link of the week is from Jayne of Chalking Up Success. Everyone (including me) wanted to learn her technique to sew a pillow with an invisible zipper. I didn’t know it could be done with just a regular zipper foot!
