Celebrate Your Story! #233

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hello everyone! Welcome back to CYS. Something cool happened to me yesterday. It all started when I finally fixed my vacuum cleaner (myself!) I’ve been struggling with motivation and my mood during this prolonged time of quarantine, but suddenly I got this burst of energy and a feeling of joy! It continued today and I got a lot done. It even rubbed off on my daughter, and she completed some extra online assignments. Has anything like this ever happened to you? I sure hope it continues!

Here’s what I was up to last week:

Easy and Inexpensive DIY Tin Can Decor

Now, let’s party!

I’m ready to pull up a chair at this relaxing lakeside porch! Libbie from A Life Unfolding shared some gorgeous outdoor decor from her homes. I love the plants and the different textures. An who can’t resist the cute dog, too?

Kathy from Southern Style Southern Charm scored this typeset tray full of collectibles for only $40! Oh, how I miss estate sales! Visit Kathy’s blog to see the other treasures she found!

Mmm…chocolate cake! This recipe from Kippi of Kippi at Home has only five ingredients and is very easy to make. I’ll take mine with a cold glass of milk!

Are you looking for some home decor inspiration? Carol from Bluesky at Home has compiled an excellent collection of five current interior design books. Perfect for the coffee table!

These days, many people have taken up hiking to escape cabin fever and to avoid crowds. Patrick from Adventures in Weseland shared some photos from the trails he’s been hiking lately. It’s so nice to be out in nature!

I love the look of outdoor curtains. They create drama and lend privacy to an outdoor room. Diane from South House Designs shared her secret to hanging romantic sheers, including how to outsmart the wind!

The most clicked link of the week once again goes to Jayne from Chalking Up Success. She shared a recipe for Elderflower Syrup. I’ve never heard of this syrup before, but it sounds delicious!
