Celebrate Your Story! #230

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hi friends! I’m sorry to be late to my own party. I had a tough day yesterday and my mind wasn’t in the game. But, today is better…the weather was lovely and I’m feeling more positive. These are tough times. I hope you’re all hanging in there, too. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there! I hope you had a great day!

This week, I’ve featured a few new guests that have joined the party! Let’s get started!

Look what Robin from Junk Journal made out of this fabulous, chippy old cabinet door! The vintage bottle is attached with hardware from Hobby Lobby. I love the simple lavender bouquet, too.

These shredded chicken tacos from Beverly of Across the Boulevard look so good!  I love that the recipe is for just two people.  Mmmm, melted cheese!

Marsha from The Little Yellow Corner Store used her mother’s cottage kitchen as the design inspiration for this lovely tablescape. I’m crushing on that vintage breadbox centerpiece! I also love how Marsha often includes recipes in her tablescape posts…this one has crusty bread and chocolate chip cookie recipes 🙂

These are just too cute and so clever! Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S created pin cushions out of vintage fabric, buttons and jello molds. Check out her excellent tutorial and make one yourself.

I can’t get enough of mason jar crafts, and this is so cool! Leanna from Faeries and Fauna turned an aqua mason jar into a solar light with dollar store lights. I can just imagine the pretty glow it must give off!

I’ve never made sloppy joe’s before, but this recipe from Heritage Home Ec makes me want to give them a try! I’d make a batch for dinner and freeze the rest for future meals.

The most clicked link of the week is from Pamela of DIY Vibes. This pretty grapevine wreath is just perfect for Spring! Check out Pamela’s blog to see how easy it is to make one.
