Celebrate Your Story! #293

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hey everyone! I apologize for my absence. There was a lot going on the last few weeks of summer and I was a bit overwhelmed. But now that my daughter went back to school yesterday (Yippee!) I can focus again on blogging.

My new theme is taking longer than expected because I’ve decided to change most of my categories, so now I need to redirect some of the old categories to the new ones. This tech stuff is way over my head, but I still need to figure it out. I believe it involves using Yoast Premium. Ugh! Definitely not my favorite part of blogging 😐

Ok, enough of my woes. Let’s start the party!

I’m loving this lake cottage inspired living room from Karin of Karin’s Kottage! It’s so crisp and airy with the white couch and pastel furnishings. What a perfect place to relax with a good book!

This watermelon and lemon juice recipe from Maya of The Little Treasures looks so refreshing! I want to make some while watermelon is still available. I love how she garnished it with basil!

This has got to be one of the cutest ideas I’ve seen in a while. Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S created a child’s bookshelf from a doll bed. Talk about creative upcycling!

Julie from My Wee Abode has designed the perfect coffee station in her tiny kitchen. I love the autumn accents that she’s added. With a festive space like this, it makes preparing the morning cup of Joe a pleasure!

This black bean salad from Estelle of Homemade on a Weeknight looks so delicious and healthy! I love that most of the ingredients are pantry staples. This would make a perfect side dish for many different meals.

This bathroom remodel is so dreamy! Missy from Sonata Home Design really nailed her spa inspired bathroom. I LOVE the tiled floor. You’ve got to see how it looked before!

The most clicked link of the week is from Kippi of Kippi at Home. She shared a detailed post on how to decoupage on foam pumpkins, flower pots and mason jars. Of course, the book page pumpkins are my favorite!
