Celebrate Your Story! #240

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hi friends! Welcome back to this week’s party. I’m “back” from the Haven Conference and I’m feeling all fired up with inspiration and ideas to implement for my blog.

There were, of course, pros and cons to attending a virtual conference. At an in person conference, you can only attend a limited number of the sessions that are offered. With the virtual conference, we’re going to have access to all of the recorded sessions.

The biggest drawback was not getting to see blogging friends in person. It’s always so much fun to hang out, socialize and share information. Hopefully, we’ll all be back together in Atlanta next year!

Now, let’s start the party 🙂

These individual strawberry shortcakes look divine! Meinhilde from Kiku Corner shared this yummy recipe. I love how she styled it with the gingham tablecloth and flowers.

It always amazes me what paint can do! Julie from Julie’s Creative Lifestyle brought this rusty metal plant stand back to life with some leftover white paint. What a difference!

My mom and step-dad had a beloved pair of Bassett Hounds, so I was happy to see this picture drawn by Linda of Paper Seedlings. She really nailed the droopy, Bassett look! Check out the other things she drew in February.

This bright and cheery porch inspired by bees and sunflowers makes me smile! Marsha from The Little Yellow Corner Store made the pillows on the bench. You’ve got to see the focaccia bread she made to serve with a glass of wine!

I love the design of this shopping bag, as it fits over the shoulder. Helen from Hello Sewing shared her tutorial along with a video. What a pretty fabric choice, too!

This baked yogurt and turmeric chicken is my kind of recipe. It’s healthy, easy to make and features spices like garam masala that are often used in Indian cuisine. Pay a visit to Nora from Treat and Trick blog to get the recipe!

The most clicked link of the week is from Patrick of Adventures in Weseland. He shared photos from his favorite zen place to visit and clear his head. I would feel at peace looking at those waterfalls, too!
