Celebrate Your Story #256

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hi friends! Welcome back to the party! Last week was crazy busy…I participated in two blog hops and a live Facebook crafting event. Under normal circumstances, that would be a busy week, but manageable. But with my daughter home all of the time, it’s quite a bit more challenging! For those of you with kids, how are you doing balancing your blog and parenting responsibilities? I’d love to hear about it!

Here’s what I was up to during my busy week!

Vintage Inspired Neutral Thanksgiving Tablescape
DIY Mason Jar Lid Christmas Ornaments

Now, let’s party!

Julie from My Wee Abode is the queen of small home living! She shared a gorgeous Thanksgiving centerpiece featuring her famous DIY velvet pumpkins. This is perfect for the smaller scale holiday many of us will be having this year.

I think MaryJo from Masterpieces of my Life has created the perfect fall cocktail: apple cider mimosas! These would be great for Thanksgiving or a girl’s night. I love how she garnished them with cinnamon sticks and apple slices.

These tartan plaid Christmas trees are just the cutest! Claire from Pillar Box Blue made them with fabric scraps and thread spools. I love them!

I’m obsessed with this edible horn of plenty filled with pumpkin dinner rolls. Debbee from Debbee’s Buzz made them last year for her Thanksgiving dinner. Check out her great tutorial if you want to make one too!

Is this not the perfect Thanksgiving sign? Carol from Bluesky at Home made it with an ink transfer. I love the neutral colors and the floral and bow hanger!

There’s nothing easier than crock pot meals! Julie from Julie’s Creative Lifestyle shared her applesauce pork roast recipe. I will definitely be giving this a try!

The most clicked link of the week is from Dee of Grammy’s Grid. She wants to know about your Halloween candy favorites. Here are mine: Peppermint Patties, candy corn, Twix, and Kit Kat 🙂

  2. You chose some really great features again, Rebecca! I love those little plaid trees, MaryJo’s mimosas (yum, pinned!), and anything easy such as that crockpot dinner of porch chops – yes, please! Thanks so much for having this party. 3. Thank you so much for the wonderful feature and kind words… you made my day! Homeschooling and blogging is a challenge but organization was key for me, and sticking to a schedule. I homeschooled and worked FT, and was a single parent. 😉 It’s a sacrifice, but worth it. (And I loved homeschooling.)
