Celebrate Your Story! #301

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hi friends! Welcome back to another party. Are you getting ready for Thanksgiving? I’m thrilled to be hosting a modest number of family and friends this year. I ordered the pies, but still need to go shopping for the turkey and side dish ingredients. I’ve heard there may be shortages this year, so I’ll be going very soon! I hope you’re all well and enjoying the fall weather. Winter will be here before we know it!

Now, let’s start the party!

CoCo from The Crowned Goat shared several gorgeous Thanksgiving tablescapes. It was hard to choose a photo as they’re all swoon worthy! Because CoCo lives in Florida, her family can dine outside on Thanksgiving. I love this outdoor table setting with the farmhouse table and plaid throw tablecloth!

There’s nothing like a bowl of soup as the weather gets chilly. This creamy butternut squash soup from Sheryl of The Wilderness Wife looks delicious! It would also make a great first course at Thanksgiving.

If you’re looking to add a personal touch to your Thanksgiving table, try crafting some turkey glasses! Debbee from Debbee’s Buzz shared a great glass painting tutorial. The turkeys wearing pilgrim hats are so cute!

True confession…I usually serve canned cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving. This fresh cranberry sauce recipe from Renae of Peacock Ridge Farm makes me want to try making my own this year. I love that she adds fresh rosemary!

If you’re looking for a Thanksgiving centerpiece, Ann from Ann’s Entitled Life has a simple DIY project. This rustic bushel style basket arrangement is simple and inexpensive to make. It can be used to decorate throughout the fall season.

Cake for breakfast? Why not! Amy from Heritage Home Ec makes this blueberry pecan breakfast cake for her family, and it’s a big hit. I can only imagine how amazing it must be with a cup of coffee!

The most clicked link of the week is from Leslie of Feet Under My Table. She shared these adorable pine cone trees. They are simple to make, and look great grouped together in various sizes!

  1. Oh, what a glorious post! I am always in love with all that you share! And Wow! Thank you for sharing those sweet little pinecone trees… I am glad that there are others who love them as much as I did. Who knew that trees made from them could be so easy?! Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Sorry I missed the party this week, but thank you so much for the feature. I’ve already been asked if I was making this for breakfast on Thanksgiving Day. LOL I guess I’m going to have to do it just to make the family happy. Thank you so much for hosting. Have a wonderful week!

  3. Rebecca, I heard the price of turkeys is ridiculous too. Good luck with hosting! I’ll still be shuffling things here in the new house before I can bring out the Christmas decor. Our weather’s turning as I write this, dropping all day with rain, and a quick errand sure looks like the trees are losing their leaves for good today in my area. CoCo’s table looks that much more inviting!

  4. Rebecca, thanks ever so much for featuring my gobbler glasses! Please forgive my delay in responding, but my mom has been here the past 9 days and I was offline to enjoy time with her.

  5. Thank you so much for featuring our tablescape, Rebecca, I really appreciate it. While we don’t get the changing leaves and the feeling of Fall most of our friends around the country do, I have to say it’s pretty special to eat outside during the golden hour. Sending you lots of hugs and thank you, CoCo PS: I’m so glad you guys are on the mend and feeling a little better each day!

  6. Rebecca, thank you for hosting your party while participating in mine. And thank you for sending a follow up note on your comment earlier. I had no clue!
