Celebrate Your Story! #242

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hello everyone! I hope all is well and you’re off to a good start to the week. Can you believe it’s August already? It’s time to savor these last weeks of summer. Because I’m a blogger, however, my thoughts are already on Fall decor. I’m sure most of you can relate!

Case in point, here’s what I was up to last week:

DIY Dollar Tree Pumpkins With Buttons

Now, on with the party!

This photo takes my breath away! Kim from Shiplap and Shells shared her summer garden, and it’s so gorgeous. I’m obsessed with her greenhouse!

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers, and Shelley from Calypso in the Country created the most clever way to display them. Can you believe that handsome burlap centerpiece is actually a repurposed cardboard box? Check out her blog to see how she made it!

My husband loves to fire up our grill, so we’ll definitely be trying this Grilled Korean BBQ Chicken Recipe from Dave of That Guy Who Grills. I like Dave’s suggestion to serve it with fried rice and stir fry veggies. Yum!

Want to jazz up a t-shirt? Add lace! That’s what Beth from Creatively Beth did to her teenage niece’s t-shirts. Lace is on trend right now, and Beth shares three no sew styles on her blog!

You all know how I love tin can crafts, right? Check out what CYS newcomer Naush of Doodle Buddies did with hers. She created faux succulents out of 7-up bottles! How unique and clever!

My late grandfather once said that luxury to him would be to sleep in sheets every night that had been dried on a clothesline. Amy from Heritage Home Ec shared her tips on how to properly use a clothesline. Clothelines can save money, are good for the environment, and have that fresh, crisp outdoor scent 🙂

The most clicked link of the week is from Lori of Dining Delight. She shared her Quarantine Date Night Table for Two, and it’s just lovely! My favorite touch is her blueberry and rose centerpiece in the wooden box. It’s so pretty!

If you’ve been featured this week or any other time at CYS, please feel free to grab a button to post on your blog!
