Celebrate Your Story! #241

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hello friends! Welcome back to this week’s party! It’s been quite hot here in Connecticut, so we’ve been swimming in the pool or staying indoors where there’s air conditioning. I can’t believe we’re already at the end of July. This summer is flying by! I hope you’re all doing well and staying cool!

Here’s what I was up to last week

DIY White Picket Fence Planter Box

Now, time to party!

Are you looking for some new ways to decorate with baskets? Amber from Follow the Yellow Brick Home shared some great decor ideas, basket makeovers and beautiful vignettes like this cloche centerpiece in a basket. Head over to her blog for more eye candy!

Speaking of candy, how about cotton candy ice cream? Yes, please! Michele from Cook, Clean, Repeat shared this easy no churn recipe. My daughter is going to love it!

What do you do when you can’t find the right napkin rings for your tablescape? Beth from Whispers of the Heart makes her own! She shares several creative DIY napkin ring ideas in her post.

Is anyone else thinking about Christmas in July? MaryJo from Masterpieces of my Life has started to order her holiday crafting supplies. She loves German glass glitter, which she used on these gorgeous dollar tree snowflakes.

I’ve always wanted to learn how to paint. Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S has started painting again after taking a long hiatus, but you’d never know it! She shares some helpful tips for those who want to try oil painting, too.

Rita from Panoply put a smile on my face when I read her tablescape post. While the table setting is super cute, her reflections about our current situation are funny and very relatable.

The most clicked link of the week is from Deb of Dragonfly Treasure. She shared several infused water recipes. They all look very refreshing, but I’m partial to this cucumber, lemon and mint version!

If you’ve been featured this week or any other time at CYS, please feel free to grab a button to post on your blog!
