Celebrate Your Story! #204

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hi there!  Can you believe we’re less than a week away from Halloween?  My daughter and I rocked the Trunk or Treat last Thursday.  We did a Christmas theme, complete with vintage decor, Christmas music and munchkins and hot cocoa served from the back of our minivan.  We took the second place parent’s choice award.  The munchkins were a big hit with the grown ups!

Last week I made some quick and cheap wall decor.  This week, I’m starting to work on Thanksgiving decor.  Please stop back on Friday, when I’ll be sharing a Thanksgiving vignette!

Now, on with the party!  As this is the last party before Halloween, half of my features are Halloween related!

These Halloween Lanterns from Kippi of Kippi at Home are both cute and creepy!  The black roses and the ribbon for the bows came from Dollar Tree.  I really love those eyeballs!

Erin from Delightful E Made shared these scrumptious Dutch Apple Pie Bars.  They’re made with a real pie crust and have a streusel topping.  And did I mention the icing?  Yum!

This idea is so easy yet so clever!  Lisa from Drug Store Divas put dollar store spider rings in a soap dispenser to add some Halloween decor to the bathroom.

Paula from Sweet Pea took us on a tour of her favorite places to visit in Vermont.  Go check out the beautiful Fall scenery on her blog.  Her dog, Sherman, had a great time there, too!

Debbie from Debbie-Dabble Blog created several Halloween vignettes in her home this year.  This one is my favorite, as I love old typewriters and clocks.  It’s just my kind of creepy!

As I just created some cheap wall art myself, I was instantly drawn to this stunning artwork that Teri from T. Moore Home created from an old cork board.  She used leftover wallpaper to create the border, and she provides the print on her blog as a free download!

The most clicked link of the week is this gorgeous Thanksgiving tablescape inspired by Pier One Imports.  It was designed by Lori of Dining Delight.  Look at the turkey, wheat, antlers, pumpkins and buffalo check napkins!  I just love the neutrals with the pops of yellow.

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!

  3. Thank you for hosting Rebecca! I’m glad you’ve been having Halloween fun! I guess we’re already onto the next holidays, whew, please slow the calendar down 🙂

    1. I know Jenna…the holidays go by so quickly. Even though bloggers are supposed to be ahead of the game, it’s always hard for me to keep up!
