Celebrate Your Story! #259

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hi friends! Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We just finished the last of our leftovers yesterday. And now it’s officially December! I’m going to bring the bulk of my Christmas decor up from the basement this week. Have you begun (or finished) your decorating yet?

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

Woodland Christmas Tablescape Inspired by Deer

Now, let’s party!

Denise from My Home of All Seasons shared her lantern decor ideas. She claims to be obsessed with lanterns, but I can see why! These lanterns are certainly stylish and versatile. I love this vintage looking Santa!

This reindeer mule cocktail looks so good! Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine shared her version of this holiday cocktail that was on the menu at her favorite restaurant. I’m fascinated by her homemade cinnamon cranberry simple syrup recipe!

I’m always amazed by Claire from Pillar Box Blue‘s creativity! She gave this brown wicker basket a red and white Christmas makeover. She even stenciled the number 25 on the lid and added a DIY drop cloth faux grain sack lining!

This lovely hutch was once dated, dark wood before Terrie from Decorate and More with Tip gave it a makeover. She shared how she decorated it for Christmas. Check out her blog to see the before and after hutch transformation!

How cute is this red Christmas barn? Ann from The Apple Street Cottage created this sweet barn from scrap wood and popsicle sticks. It would look so festive in a vignette on a mantel or in a hutch!

Have you ever heard of pineapple casserole? Kristi from Mulch and Paint shared her easy family recipe. It features Ritz crackers, cheese and pineapple for a salty sweet taste that makes the perfect side dish!

The most clicked link of the week is this beautiful first frost tablescape from Lori of Dining Delight. I love the galvanized metal houses and twinkly lights. While this would be perfect for Christmas, it could also be used all Winter long!
