Celebrate Your Story! #223

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hi friends.  I’m going to be honest…last week I was completely out of sorts.  Overnight, the world turned into a scary, unfamiliar place and I needed to take a break to get my bearings.  I apologize for skipping the party.  I hope you all understand, and I’m so glad that you’ve come back.

I’ve accepted that I’m going to be homebound indefinitely with my 6 year old daughter, and I’m determined to make the best of it.  It helps that I already work from home!  As many of you who attend this party are also bloggers, I’m sure you’re planning to do the same.

I hope you’re all hanging in there physically and emotionally.  I believe that God will get us through this crisis.  I’m so grateful for the technology we have to stay connected!

Now, let’s get to the party 🙂

Katie from The Organized Dream shared this lovely DIY Spring Wreath.  I love the grey and pink florals together.  Even better?  Most of her materials are from the thrift store and dollar store!

As a dog owner, I’m just crazy about this DIY Dog Leash Holder. Kristin from White Arrows Home shares my passion for collecting vintage treasures, and I just love how she created this unique and functional leash holder from thrifted items!

I can’t get enough Easter crafts, and these DIY Easter Egg Candle Holders are so cute! Pamela from DIY Vibes created these with plastic Easter eggs! You have to go see how she did it.

Jenna from The Painted Apron has the most delicious and easy to make recipes! This Asparagus Alfredo Ravioli Bake looks so good! You can even substitute with different ingredients. I’m going to try mine with broccoli!

If you’re looking to make some paper crafts, check out these origami tulips from Hani of Craftionary. Tulips are the perfect Spring flower. I love the pops of color!

I love the earthy look of moss on a Spring tablescape. CoCo from The Crowned Goat shared an easy tutorial for DIY Moss Placemats. She styled the table with several different place settings…the blue cow above is my favorite!

I can’t say I was surprised to see that Chas from Chas’ Crazy Creations had the most clicked link of the week. With the current shortage of hand sanitizer, she provides a great solution: DIY Hand Sanitizer made from rubbing alcohol! Her post includes 15 ways to use rubbing alcohol, many of which are to disinfect household items!

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!

Those are the kind of tables I would really like to style! I am so happy you signed up for a LIVE on Facebook. I can’t wait to try your ravioli bake recipe! I’ve been cooking and baking a lot more since we started social distancing. Stay safe and healthy!
