Celebrate Your Story! #223
Celebrate Your Story! Link Party
Hi friends. I’m going to be honest…last week I was completely out of sorts. Overnight, the world turned into a scary, unfamiliar place and I needed to take a break to get my bearings. I apologize for skipping the party. I hope you all understand, and I’m so glad that you’ve come back.
I’ve accepted that I’m going to be homebound indefinitely with my 6 year old daughter, and I’m determined to make the best of it. It helps that I already work from home! As many of you who attend this party are also bloggers, I’m sure you’re planning to do the same.
I hope you’re all hanging in there physically and emotionally. I believe that God will get us through this crisis. I’m so grateful for the technology we have to stay connected!
Now, let’s get to the party 🙂
Katie from The Organized Dream shared this lovely DIY Spring Wreath. I love the grey and pink florals together. Even better? Most of her materials are from the thrift store and dollar store!
As a dog owner, I’m just crazy about this DIY Dog Leash Holder. Kristin from White Arrows Home shares my passion for collecting vintage treasures, and I just love how she created this unique and functional leash holder from thrifted items!
I can’t get enough Easter crafts, and these DIY Easter Egg Candle Holders are so cute! Pamela from DIY Vibes created these with plastic Easter eggs! You have to go see how she did it.
Jenna from The Painted Apron has the most delicious and easy to make recipes! This Asparagus Alfredo Ravioli Bake looks so good! You can even substitute with different ingredients. I’m going to try mine with broccoli!
If you’re looking to make some paper crafts, check out these origami tulips from Hani of Craftionary. Tulips are the perfect Spring flower. I love the pops of color!
I love the earthy look of moss on a Spring tablescape. CoCo from The Crowned Goat shared an easy tutorial for DIY Moss Placemats. She styled the table with several different place settings…the blue cow above is my favorite!
I can’t say I was surprised to see that Chas from Chas’ Crazy Creations had the most clicked link of the week. With the current shortage of hand sanitizer, she provides a great solution: DIY Hand Sanitizer made from rubbing alcohol! Her post includes 15 ways to use rubbing alcohol, many of which are to disinfect household items!

Thank you so much for featuring my easy moss placemats, Rebecca! We definitely had a rough week last week so it was such a highlight. I really appreciate you hosting while we navigate this new normal. It really helps. Hugs, CoCo
Rebecca, undoubtedly that hand sanitizer is popular. Necessity is the mother of invention, for sure! Sharing part of my beaded purse collection that showcases florals and birds in the designs. We all need a little distraction from the news. Thank you for providing it!
I had to stop watching the news, Rita. It was stressing me out too much. I’d much rather be blogging anyway LOL! I can’t wait to check out your beaded purses. I have a couple in my collection, too. Thanks for linking up! Stay well and safe and I’ll “see” you at the Easter tables on Tuesday!
I had a bit of a meltdown on the weekend myself. I can certainly understand. I am glad you have your sweet little girl with you, I am sure she brings you many moments of joy. Thank you for hosting…and I like moss on a spring table, too. I love those fantasy tables set in the woods with moss all around and draping down to the ground. Those are the kind of tables I would really like to style! I am so happy you signed up for a LIVE on Facebook. Those are keeping the smile on my face and forcing me to get up and get dressed and get out of bed and get on with life! Did you sign up for the Easter tablescape hop? I haven’t checked the list yet! Stay positive! I look forward to seeing you LIVE!
Oh Chloe! I’m sorry to hear you had a rough weekend…I hope this week was better for you. Thank you so much for coordinating Craft & Chat LIVE and the Easter Tablescape Hop. I’m looking forward to participating in both next week! It’s going to make things feel a little more normal to be crafting and tablescaping again. I’ve really enjoyed your LIVES this week as well as the others in the group. “See” you soon, my friend!
Thank you so much for hosting the party.
Have a healthy and safe spring,
Thanks Kippi! It will definitely be a Spring that we’ll never forget! Stay safe and well!
Wow! All the ideas here are great, thanks for featuring my paper tulips. Thanks for hosting.
You’re welcome, Hani! It was nice to “meet” you here at the party. I’m going to try making the tulips with my daughter 🙂 Stay well and safe!
Thank you so much for another wonderful party.
Keep safe and blessings,
Thanks Fabby! I’m so glad you came to the party. Blessings and wellness to you too!
Thank you so much for the feature and for another wonderful party! Hope you’re having a lovely week.
Thanks Chas! I was happy to share your DIY sanitizer recipes with everyone. What a relevant post! Stay safe and healthy!
Hi Rebecca, I know we all feel like we’ve been blind sided by this virus and the way it has impacted our lives. I am grateful that we can stay connected to friends, family, and people through blogging and social media. Thanks so much for keeping the party going! And thanks for featuring my Asparagus Alfredo Ravioli Bake! I hope you have a good week as you and your daughter adjust to homeschooling.
Thanks so much Jenna! Blind sided is the perfect term to describe how this virus has changed everything. I don’t know what I’d do without my computer and phone! I can’t wait to try your ravioli bake recipe! I’ve been cooking and baking a lot more since we started social distancing. Stay safe and healthy!
Praying for you all, Rebecca! I agree… the Lord has this, and will give us the strength when we turn to Him and ask for it! Hugs!
Thanks so much for hosting each week!!
Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Thanks Debbie! I appreciate your loyalty at this party 🙂 You stay safe and healthy too!
I hope you and your daughter are adjusting as well as you can, Rebecca. It’s a difficult time. I appreciate you hosting the party. Wishing you good health and safety.
Thanks Beverly. We’re taking it day by day. My daughter really misses school and her friends. I’m doing my best to find fun things for her to do at home. She’s learning how to sew and making clothes for her dolls! Thanks for coming to the party. Stay safe and well!
Thanks so much for hosting! I’m linking up today with WEED APPRECIATION DAY and WHAT WAS IT? (ANIMAL PROMPT 75 WORDS). I’d like to invite you to come and link up with me at the current parties I’m hosting.
Thanks for stopping by and linking up, Dee! Thanks for the party invites…I’ll have to check those out! Hope you’re staying safe and well.
I hope you’re doing well! Last week sent me into panic mode and I had to figure out how to handle it all. I pray things get better soon!
It sounds like I’m not alone with my anxiety over all of this, Michelle. I hope you’re hanging in there, too. I’m right there with you praying that we get through this soon. Thanks for coming to the party!
I think last week was an adjustment for everyone, no apologies for the party! Hope your family is staying safe and healthy. Thanks for featuring my Easter egg candle holders! Hoping to put up the Easter decor some time this week. St. Patrick’s Day is still up although it was the most low key one we’ve ever had due to the circumstances!
Thanks for understanding, Pamela. Your candle holders are so unique! Thanks for sharing them at the party. I’m going to be working on an Easter Tablescape this week. Decorating really helps keep my mind off of everything. I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy too!
Hope that you are doing ok there. Our world has really changed. Thanks for hosting this party to give us some relief from all the scary news out there. Hope that you have a wonderful week.
Thanks Patrick! I don’t know what I’d do without my blog…it’s definitely been a good distraction from everything. Thanks for coming to the party each week! Take care and stay safe.
