Celebrate Your Story #218

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome back friends! We’re just four days away from Valentine’s Day! Does everyone have plans? We’ll probably go out for dinner after my daughter’s dance class on Friday night. Nothing too fancy, as it has to be a place with a kid’s menu!

The craft room is so close to completion…I just need to neatly stack and organize the fabric, then photograph the room. I was hoping to be done by now, but some other obligations popped up last week. I did get a lot done, though. Look for my reveal post by tomorrow night!

Now, let’s get to this week’s party! Because this is the last party before Valentine’s Day, most of my features are Valentine’s related.

Are you looking for a unique Valentine’s Day floral arrangement? Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate shares her Easy Valentine’s Arrangement tutorial on her blog. This is so lovely and it looks like something you’d get from a high end florist!

Amy from A Day of Small Things shared some of her Valentine’s decor. I so love these heart pillows made from old quilts! They’re even more cute displayed in the vintage wooden bowl.

Valentine’s popcorn anyone? How about Strawberry White Chocolate Popcorn with Rice Krispies, M&M’s and marshmallows? Oh, yeah! Pamela from DIY Vibes says this recipe can be addicting, and I believe it!

How sweet would it be to get an old fashioned love letter, written in cursive and delivered by snail mail? Rita from Panoply shared snippets of letters written by her father to her mother while he was serving in WWII. There’s just something so romantic about hand written notes that cannot be compared to the text messages or emails of today.

Ann from the Apple Street Cottage painted and reupholstered this darling footstool. I love that blue and white fabric. You’ve got to see what this $2 estate sale find looked like before Ann worked her magic!

Look at this tiered stand of Valentine’s desserts! I want to pull up a seat at Coco from the Crowned Goat’s table and dig in! There’s a nice mix of salty and sweet treats. I especially love the jars of strawberry milk with a powdered donut on top 🙂

The most clicked link of the week is from Carol of Blue Sky at Home. She shares three fun and fabulous tablescape designs. Whether you’re seeking a romantic look or a casual Galentine’s setting, you’re sure to find inspiration from Carol’s post!

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!
