Celebrate Your Story! #270

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome back to the party, my friends! I’ve been praying for those of you that were affected by the extreme weather. I hope that everyone is safe, warm and that your electricity and water has been restored.

I don’t have anything new to report this week, so I’ll just get to the party!

Check out this pretty lamp! Hannah from Handmade Weekly made it herself out of an inexpensive vase. Go visit her blog to see how easy it is to make one for yourself!

I love this late winter tablescape by the fire from Kristin of White Arrows Home! Her grandmother’s floral china is right at home atop Kristin’s signature plaid tablecloth. Plus, we get a sneak peek of her family’s modern hunting lodge!

Mmm…pork chops with honey and garlic! This recipe from Julie of Julie’s Creative Lifestyle is quick and easy to make. This would make a great weeknight meal!

I love to decorate with old books. If you’re unable to find any vintage books, don’t fret. CoCo from The Crowned Goat shared an easy tutorial that produces “aged” looking books using new books!

Debbee from Debbee’s Buzz brought home her long awaited new companion, Whiskey the Scottish Terrier! She shared a detailed and informative post with new puppy tips and suggested puppy supplies. He’s just the cutest!

I’m obsessed with this DIY coffee table! You’ve got to see how Sarah from Salmonde turned a wicker basket into a chic table with storage. Wait until you see how it looked before!

The most clicked link of the week is this fabulous spring vignette from Kippi of Kippi at Home. Hop on over to her blog to learn how to make these adorable Rae Dunn inspired wood block signs. You’ll want to make them for every season!

If you’ve been featured this week or any other time at CYS, please feel free to grab a button to post on your blog!

  1. Thank you so much for featuring my tips on painted books, Rebecca, I really appreciate it. One of the things I miss most about our lives pre-covid was being able to leisurely stroll through the aisles of estate sales and charity shops looking for goodies. Sending you hugs and adding my prayers to the others that things settle down soon. It feels like the wildest winter ever. Hugs and thank yous, CoCo

  2. Thanks for hosting and featuring the pork chops I made Rebecca! I appreciate it and have a nice week.

  4. Rebecca, you are the sweetest! Thanks so much for your kind words and featuring my puppy post. We’re muddling through challenging weather, but doing really well on learning puppy manners and basic obedience. I am also amazed by the diy lamp and table! Both are things my youngest son could use for his home. inspiring me to come up with ideas for his mid century modern style.

    1. Thanks Debbee! I just knew everyone would love to see that adorable puppy face! I’m glad to hear Whiskey is doing well with his training. I was really impressed with the lamp and coffee table, too. New furniture is so expensive. We have some really creative bloggers at this party!

  5. Thanks so much Rebecca! Wow, Julie’s pork chops look so good! You always chose such a fabulous range of features 🙂
