Celebrate Your Story! #237

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hey friends! I hope you’re all doing well! It’s gotten hot and humid here in Connecticut and it now feels like summer. We recently fired up the grill and I’m looking forward to our Fourth of July celebration. My favorite dish is the potato salad. What is your favorite? I wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July!

Here’s what I was up to last week:

Rustic Americana Patriotic Tablescape
DIY Chess Board from a Thrift Shop Cutting Board

Now, let’s start this week’s party!

Rachelle from My Hubbard Home shared this lovely outdoor patriotic tablescape. I’ve been crafting with tin cans recently myself, so her DIY tin can votive holders immediately caught my eye. I love the striped table runner, too!

It’s not summer without popsicles, so I was intrigued by this healthy version from Theresa of Theresa Gentile RD. Can you believe she made them with chick peas? I’m a huge fan of hummus, but I’d never thought of chick peas as an ingredient in a popsicle! With other healthy ingredients like bananas and peanut butter, I can’t wait to try them!

I’m always amazed by the creative crafts designed by Claire of Pillar Box Blue. How cool are these flowers made from recycled jeans? I would combine them with red and white accents for a patriotic vignette!

Speaking of vignettes, I just love this patriotic tray styled by Julie from My Wee Abode. Head over to her blog to get your own free anchor printable! I’m crazy about her DIY ticking stripe flags, too!

Stars and Stripes Forever! This patriotic tablescape from Debbee of Debbee’s Buzz is so charming. I love the bold stars and stripes on the tablecloth and napkins. And oh, those Liberty Blue transferware plates are just the perfect set to celebrate our country’s birthday!

This vegetable pasta recipe from Nora of Treat and Trick checks off all of my boxes: healthy, delicious, quick and simple! Plus, it’s versatile too. Just use whatever veggies you have on hand. Perfect for summer!

The most clicked link of the week is from Dee of Grammy’s Grid. She has a great conversation starter or party game for your next (socially distant) gathering. You’ll have to visit her blog to find out what it is!
