Celebrate Your Story! #289

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing well and staying cool during these hazy, lazy days of summer. I’m suffering from a bit of FOMO, as the Haven Conference is this week in Atlanta and I’m not attending this year. For bloggers, it’s the social event of the year. But I can wait one more year until I feel ready to travel again. If you’re going, have a safe and wonderful time! I’ll definitely see you next year 🙂

My mouth was watering looking at all of the yummy recipes shared this week. Let’s get this party started!

Have you ever put grilled apple on a burger? Estelle from Homemade on a Weeknight shared this tasty burger recipe. I love the addition of bacon and smoked gouda cheese!

I’ve never heard of using Fritos in a dessert recipe! Paula from Sweet Pea shared this unique four ingredient salty sweet treat. Bonus, it’s no bake!

I love the whimsy of fairy gardens. Denise from My Home of All Seasons shared how to create one in your backyard. The best part is how it’s illuminated at night with solar lights!

Leslie from Feet Under My Table shared another delicious zucchini recipe. This savory gratin makes the perfect side dish. It’s another great way to make good use of the abundant zucchini from the garden!

I didn’t realize how easy it is to make a ball out of fabric. Helen from Hello Sewing shared an excellent tutorial with a video. These make great gifts for kids or pets!

At the grocery store this week, blueberries were on sale for $1 a pint. I may need to go back and get some so I can make this Blueberry Kuchen recipe shared by Cindy from Cindy’s Online Recipe Box. It’s easy to make and the crust resembles shortbread. Yum!

The most clicked link of the week is from Patrick of Adventures in Weseland. He took us out to a minor league baseball game that brought back some bittersweet memories. I love hearing the stories that accompany the photos of Patrick’s adventures!
