Celebrate Your Story! #199

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome back to Celebrate Your Story!  And happy official first day of Fall!  We’ve had some Indian Summer weather here in Connecticut, but I know the cooler weather is right around the corner.

I was very busy last week!  Let me share with you what I’ve been up to lately.

I made a wreath for the September At Home DIY Challenge.  This month, we were challenged to create unique home decor with just a $20 budget.

I also participated in the Welcome Fall Tablescape Blog Hop, hosted by my friend Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate.

I’m still working on my laundry / mudroom makeover for the $100 Room Challenge.  I’ll share the reveal with you next week!

Ok, now on with the party!

Jenna from The Painted Apron shared a collection of her favorite centerpieces and vignettes.  Visit her blog for plenty of Fall decor inspiration!

How cute is this stenciled pallet deer wall art by Chas from Chas’ Crazy Creations?  Check out her great tutorial…there’s even a video!

Mmmm…Marilyn from Marilyn’s Treats shares her recipe for No Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake, and there’s only six ingredients.  This looks like the perfect Fall dessert!

I can’t resist a good dollar store project, and this wreath from Mary of The Boondocks Blog hits the mark.  I love the simplicity and the fringed fabric!

Cheryl from Sew Can Do made this Fall Patchwork Ribbon Sign from leftover ribbon scraps!  I love projects like this where you can use items that you already have in your craft stash.

My daughter is only six, but I have already have piles of her artwork.  I was thrilled to see how Debbee from Debbee’s Buzz created this gallery wall of her son’s artwork, which she swaps out every season!

The most clicked link of the week is Lori from Dining Delight’s Fall Retirement Dinner Tablescape.  Lori created this tablescape for her own retirement party.  Congratulations Lori!  Now you have more time to blog 🙂

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!

Enjoy!

  7. Thanks for hosting, Rebecca. I hope you have a wonderful week. We’re still waiting for fall to arrive in Charleston. September is our month to go from mid 90s one day to low 80s the next and then back again. I’m loving all the fall decor being shared though.
