Spring Entry Table Decor

Several years ago, I gave our front entry a makeover. When we bought the house, it had a dark maroon accent wall that had to go. I painted it a calm light green (my favorite color), brought in an entryway table and added some artwork. It looked so much better!

At Christmas, I usually decorate the console table with a tabletop Christmas tree. For my spring entryway ideas I designed a vintage style console table vignette. Let me show you how I put it together!

Vintage Spring Decor

There’s nothing like adding some vintage items to give your decor interest and personality! For the focal point of my vignette, I opened up a vintage suitcase and filled it with old, new and hand crafted items. Other vintage pieces include the old books, a chalkware bust, vintage spools of thread in a pink transferware bowl, and a small floral vase.

DIY Spring Crafts and Decor

Make a bead garland with tassels to drape around a vase. I bought the raw wood beads through Amazon and painted them light brown. Then I made and attached jute tassels.

I made this Pottery Barn Inspired Textured Vase with a glass thrift store vase and some paint mixed with baking soda. It looks fabulous with faux ferns from Walmart!

My stepfather whittled the wooden birds. They provide another hand crafted nod to spring!

Spring Wall Decor

I’ve always had a thing for vintage paint by numbers artwork. I’ve used them before in my Holiday Drink Station and Bedroom Reading Nook. I was thrilled when I found a set of three framed landscape pieces at an estate sale. This one makes me think of spring with the blooming pink flowers.

Other Spring Entryway Ideas

For a spring vignette, you can’t forget the flowers and greenery! I chose faux greens and florals as this area of the house doesn’t get much sun. Plus, it doesn’t require any upkeep 😉 The boxwood orb is from a tag sale and the white bouquet is from Dollar Tree.

I also added a real found bird’s nest with some faux eggs.
