Red and White Tablescape in the Park

A red and white tablescape is the perfect choice for a summer picnic in the park. It’s easy to create a simple and festive table setting for summer entertaining.

Red and White Tablescape

One of my all time favorite places is a local state park that overlooks the ocean. I feel so lucky to have access to such a beautiful place. For my summer table setting, I designed a red and white tablescape in one of the gardens at the park.

I found inspiration from the table linens that were in my stash. I was thrilled that I didn’t need to buy anything new.

The tablecloth is vintage, and the napkins were a thrifting score. The red handled flatware belonged to my mom. The white ironstone plates are also thrifted.

The only thing I purchased was the red geranium. It makes a lovely centerpiece inside an ironstone chamber pot.

glass bottle of Coca Cola and a small wooden picnic basket

Nothing says picnic like a vintage picnic basket! I still had the bottles of Coca Cola that made an appearance on my Enamelware Inspired Patriotic Tablescape.

The rattan chargers add texture and coordinate with the wooden folding chairs and picnic basket.

The park features a historic mansion and several outbuildings. This garden is behind the carriage house.

It was a gorgeous day, and I really enjoyed styling the table in this beloved setting. I hope you liked my red and white tablescape. Until next time!
