Dress up a bouquet of real or faux flowers with a decorative butcher paper cone tied with a bow. I’ll show you how to make a paper cone flower basket to enjoy yourself or to give as a gift.
I’m excited to join some of my blogger friends today for The Creative Craft Blog Hop, hosted by the very crafty Sara from Birdz of a Feather. If you’re stopping by after a visit with Carol from Bluesky at Home, welcome. I can’t wait to see what she’s created with Mod Podge! Be sure to check out all of this month’s craft projects at the bottom of this post.

How to Make a Cone Out of Paper
Using a ruler, measure butcher paper to form a 22″ x 18″ rectangle. Mark dimensions with a pen and cut out with scissors.
Fold a bottom corner up just past the middle to form a crease.
Place flowers on paper above the fold. Next, fold over the shorter side of the paper and secure with scotch tape.
Fold the longer side of the paper around the back to create a cone.
Fold the paper under behind the cone, then glue it to the back of the cone with hot glue.
Tie a bow around the cone, then secure it underneath with hot glue. Done!
Group several bouquets in a basket for decorative impact. They make great party favors! You can even find the butcher paper and flowers at Dollar Tree.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial on how to make a paper cone flower basket. Next on the hop is Cecilia from My Thrift Store Addiction. You’re going to love her garden sign makeover!
