Celebrate Your Story! #274

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome back to the party, my friends! It’s been another week with some mild temperatures, which has really lifted my spirits. Between the nice weather and the beginning of Daylight Savings Time, I’m feeling pretty good! I’m so looking forward to getting my vaccine so I can feel comfortable venturing out more. Soon, it will be tag sale season. Woohoo!

Here’s what I was up to last week:

Pretty in Pink Easter Tablescape

Now, let’s check out this week’s features!

I love the simplicity of this spring wreath from Regina of Saved From Salvage. The mini birdhouse is so sweet! Check out the post for some other wreath ideas.

I can’t wait to visit the garden center and stock up on annuals. These cool burlap planters created by MaryJo from Master Pieces of my Life are perfect for summer plants. They look great grouped together!

Marsha from The Little Yellow Corner Store designed this lovely tablescape inspired by an English cottage garden. I love the centerpiece in a basket and the floral tablecloth. It’s perfect for spring and Easter!

I love apricots, so when I saw this recipe from Niky of The House on Silverado, I was intrigued. I’ve never heard of Apricot Blondies before! The ingredients also include macadamia nuts and white chocolate. Yum!

If there’s one thing I can’t resist, it’s repurposed vintage decor. These shutter sconces from Renae of Peacock Ridge Farm are so fabulous! She has a great video tutorial in her post, too šŸ™‚

When my mom and I had our shop, we used to sell tea and tea accessories. I loved the tea cozies and how they are meant to keep a pot of tea hot. Helen from Hello Sewing shared her excellent tea cozy sewing tutorial.

The most clicked link of the week is a guide to upcycled projects to try during pandemic lockdowns from Claire of Claire Justine. I love the old Wellies turned planters. I’ll have to keep an eye out for some at the thrift store!
