5 DIY Garden Projects to Beautify Outdoor Spaces

Hi friends!  It’s time for my round up of featured projects from the May At Home DIY Challenge.  You may recall that the theme was “Make It Pretty Outdoors”.  So without further ado, here are 5 DIY Garden Projects to Beautify Outdoor Spaces.

I’m in love with the weed free flower bed that Toni from Girl, Just DIY created!  You have got to see the before photos!  I love that she used succulents, which are having a moment now in home decor.  And, she even made a bird bath water feature!  Go check it out!

Christine from Pinspired to DIY prettied up the area around her pool with a brick garden border.  She still has a little more work to do, but it looks great already and what a big improvement!  Stop over and see how it looked before.

Check out this Vertical Garden Wall Planter that Vineta from The Handyman’s Daughter made!  Not only can you plant flowers in the boxes, but it also has a storage box for toys, gardening supplies or anything else you need stored neatly away.  This would be great for apartment or condo dwellers with limited outdoor space.

Lisa from Shine Your Light Blog built a custom garden trellis for an overgrown clematis that she relocated to the side of her garage.  This is the perfect solution for when you can’t find a trellis the right size that you need.  Lisa shows you how to build this in an afternoon!

And in case you missed it, I made a small garden under our mailbox to add some curb appeal.  It looks even better now that a few weeks have passed and the plants have filled in and grown a bit.  Even a  neighbor commented that it looks nice 🙂
