Hugs and Kisses Valentine Tablescape
Set a Hugs and Kisses Valentine Tablescape to celebrate the holiday. This happy and festive table setting would be perfect for a casual Galentine’s Day luncheon!
You’re in for a treat, as I’ve joined my blogger friends for another Tablescape Blog Hop. Many thanks to my friend Rita from Panoply for coordinating the hop! If you’re here after a visit with Ricki Jill from The Bookish Dilettante, welcome! There are links to all of the stylist’s table settings at the end of this post. Don’t forget to visit them all!
Hugs and Kisses Valentine Tablescape Inspiration
All it took to find my Valentine inspiration for this year was a trip to Dollar Tree. When I saw these galvanized metal “hugs and kisses”, I knew they would be the starting point and theme for my table.
The silver color of the metal words is another design element that was repeated throughout the tablescape.
The heart tablecloth that I found at Homegoods for $12 is the most expensive item on the table. As I find most of my tableware and linens secondhand, this was quite a splurge lol!
The plate stack consists of a red charger, white luncheon plate and a heart dessert plate.
These darling heart plates were just $2 each at Homegoods.
For flatware, I chose my vintage silver plate set with white linen napkins.
The centerpiece is a thrift store silver tray that displays a white urn filled with red roses, chocolates and votive candles.
The heart glasses are another fabulous Dollar Tree find!
Last year when I designed my Valentine’s Day in Paris Romantic Tablescape, I couldn’t find any red roses. I was thrilled to have them available this year! I used red roses on my Valentine’s Day Nuptial Dinner Tablescape, as well.
I was so excited to find Valentine’s candy corn! Guests are welcome to help themselves from the footed silver dish. I also used this candy corn to decorate my Red Velvet Bundt Cake.
I hope you liked my Hugs and Kisses Valentine Tablescape! Now it’s time to hop along to the next table. Next up is Patti from Pandora’s Box. She’s designed a lovely Valentine’s table for two.
Until next time!
Rebecca

Gorgeous, Rebecca! I love those pretty heart plates and your candy corn!
So pretty, Rebecca! The galvanized hugs and kisses are a great find! Both the heart adorned tablecloth and plates add a touch of romantic whimsy! Your centrepiece is stunning. I deep red roses against the white urn really make an impact! You are lucky to find such fun things at your dollar stores! I love that you have repeated the touches of silver throughout! Ties everything together nicely!
Love the deep red roses and chargers set against the lighter pinks and whites. They give your sweet table such energy! I had no idea you could get red candy corn! The signs were a great jumping off point. Your guests will enjoy Valentine’s Day at your table.
Rebecca, I love the Dollar Tree stores – probably too much 😉
Your heart printed plates are so cute as well as the metal words. You could use them again in many different ways. A tablescape like yours would be perfect for a Galentine’s lunch or dinner.

Rebecca, your heart filled tablescape is so festive and “lighthearted”. I love the touches of hearts in your tablecloth, glassware and dessert plates. They are all tied together with the help of your urn filled with beautiful red roses. It is amazing the items that can be purchased from the Dollar Store to add to a tablescape to bring fun and interest to the table without breaking the bank. With all of the various hearts, it puts me in a playful and jovial mood as if I am surrounded by the traditional conversation heart candies. Happy Valentine’s Day.
Thanks for reminding me Rebecca…I had forgotten my heart glasses from the dollar store! I got mine years ago and I love the happiness they conjure up. Your table is so much fun, anyone would be happy to sit with you and nosh on the heart candy alone. So glad to be able to blog hop with you.

Rebecca what a darling table! Love your sweet finds at DT, and those reasonably priced plates from HG. Your little splurge on that cute tablecloth will be worth it as you’ll likely get years of use out of it. Plus, it makes a big statement and still is easy to store from year to year. Where did you find the Valentines candy corn? Mr. Buzz LOVES it, and I’d like to surprise him with in tucked in his suitcase for our holiday trip.
Rebecca, I really should make more trips to Dollar Tree. The tablecloth and heart plates are perfect finds for your table. The red roses are gorgeous. I love the idea of a Galentine’s party and you are ready to entertain your friends. It is always a pleasure to hop with you!
I love that you found plates to compliment your festive heart tablecloth. It ties everything together and the glasses add a special touch. Hearts everywhere! The silver tray was a great way to draw attention to the wonderful roses in your centerpiece.

Rebecca, your table is fun and festive. Your galentines are going to love dining here with you. Have a special Valentine’s Day!
I love this whimsical Valentine’s Day table. Everything looks so pretty and cheerful. Those plates are absolutely precious. Wishing you a Happy Valentine’s Day!
What a fun table!! I can see a group of friends sitting around your table laughing and munching on Valentine candy corn!! I hope you have a sweet Valentine’s Day!!!
How fun this table is from the heart tablecloth to the rainbow heart plates. Such a fun post title. Hugs and kisses is perfect. Those dollar store glasses are too cute. Galentines is perfect for women getting together. Always a pleasure joining you.
Hi Rebecca, I am crazy over your heart tablecloth, it is just darling! The metal hugs and kisses are too cute, and those darling heart plates…happy hearts all over the place! There is nothing more perfect for a Valentine’s centerpiece than a vase full of red roses, and yours are just beautiful! You are all set for a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
I love the watercolor look of your tablecloth. The colors are so pretty, as are the colored hearts on your dessert plates. Your plate stack is perfect for your table! I also like that your centerpiece is on a pretty silver tray. The inspirations for your table are cute, too.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
XO,
Ricki Jill
Dollar Tree to the rescue! I love it! Those are really cute signs (and candy corn, which I happen to be a fan of). The glasses are really adorable too. The Homegoods tablecloth and plates were great additions to your Valentine’s stash. I love the idea of a galentine’s lunch (or even dinner). Our girlfriends are so important, and that’s a fact, especially as we age and our kids are flown from the nest. Thanks, Rebecca, for bringing it alive on your table and joining in the blog hop fun.
How pretty, Rebecca! Love your sweet heart tablecloth, too! Pinned! Blessings, Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
