Blue and Yellow Easter Tablescape

Blue and Yellow Easter Tablescape

Can you believe Easter is just 12 days away? This year won’t be a typical Easter holiday, as our Church is closed and we’re not going to be visiting with our elderly parents. But decorating for Easter helps to make things feel a little more normal. Today, I’m going to share my Blue and Yellow Easter Tablescape.

This tablescape is part of the Easter Tablescape Blog Hop, hosted by my friend Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate. Be sure to visit the other talented table stylists at the bottom of this post for more table setting ideas!

The inspiration for this table came from these yellow bunny plates that I found at a thrift shop last Fall. It was love at first sight! They were manufactured in Portugal by Bordallo Pinneiro. I knew they would be perfect for an Easter tablescape!

I layered the bunny plates with rattan chargers and vintage floral salad plates. I used the floral china before in last year’s Bird Themed Spring Tablescape. I had the linen napkins with blue stripes in my stash.

I made the blue and yellow floral fabric Easter eggs that rest in a bed of raffia at each place setting. The blue sherbet dishes are from my Depression Glass collection.

Faux blue hydrangea stems are arranged in mini milk bottles. The tablecloth is a piece of vintage chenille fabric.

A vintage cast iron lamb cake mold serves as a centerpiece. He is another treasured gift from my mom.

The lamb is joined by a white cast iron bunny with an egg in his backpack. A weathered board serves as a table runner.

A vintage Easter basket also sits in the middle of the table…

…filled with raffia and hand crafted floral fabric carrots.

The teapots look vintage, but they’re from The Christmas Tree Shop!

Yellow and white gumdrops are served in a vintage cabbage dish.

The sideboard was also decorated for Easter.

I hope you enjoyed my Blue and Yellow Easter Tablescape. Don’t forget to visit the others below!

I have an oval platter in green that matches them! Love the chenille piece for your table cover, and the fabric carrots and covered eggs are smashingly cute.
