Craft and Vintage Market Preview

Hi all!  I’m going to keep things short today because I’m a little frazzled with everything I need to do before the show on Saturday.  As promised, I’ll share a sampling of the things I plan to sell in my booth.  When my Mom and I had our shop, our tag line was “The Funk, The Junk and The Gorgeous”.  I decided to put some of my items into those categories today for fun.  If you’re new to this blog, you can read about the story of my Mom and I HERE.

The Funk

I couldn’t resist this assortment of mini pool balls.  They would look great in a bowl on a coffee table.  A great conversation starter!  And these vintage daisies made of tiny beads are cute and unusual.  The handbag is made of plastic and has a funky 60’s retro vibe.

The Junk

If it has rust, by most people’s standards it’s junk.  But some of us see the beauty in time worn objects.  These old kitchen items fit in with the current Farmhouse decor trend.

The Gorgeous

I’ve always been drawn to pretty, feminine things.  These painted floral tole trays can be hung on a wall, or used on an entryway table to corral mail and keys.  And I just love the transfer ware trivet and square bowl.

I also included a few things that are hand-made and Fall related.

I made the Home Sweet Home sign and the bee serving tray.  I adore this vintage aluminum cake carrier with the acorn handle.  I also have some cozy wool blankets, cutting boards and wooden bowls.

So, it’s somewhat of an eclectic mix.  Let’s just hope for good weather!

I’ll post a wrap up report next week to let you know how it goes.

Wish me luck!

Rebecca
