Hi friends! Today’s show and tell will be a little different. I was unable to go out treasure hunting last weekend because I was working at our church’s holiday bazaar, which was lots of fun!
So instead, I’ve just put together a few of my favorite things from my personal stash to show you.
This metal bust of a woman weighs a ton! She sits on a marble base and looks down from a shelf in my living room. I bought her at an estate sale a couple of years ago. Even though she wasn’t a bargain, she was too pretty to pass up. I also knew she would become a permanent part of my decor. I like to dress her up on occasion with pretty scarves and rhinestone necklaces.
I don’t recall if I’ve told you this before, but I’ve got a thing for deer. My mom found this sweet little planter and gave it to me. I adore the color and that sweet vintage face. It’s not in the best condition, but I love it all the same and I will never part with it.
I found this ironstone mug at a church tag sale, and it’s my favorite mug ever. I use it almost daily and swear that my morning coffee tastes better when I’m drinking from it. I love the iris, gold trim and the handle. I’ve also never come across anything like it before.
This vintage glass container also belonged to my mom. She filled it with rose petals and lavender, and I continue to add my own dried petals. It says “General Store” on the side, and the contents smell heavenly.
This adorable wall hanging came from an antiques shop. I was smitten with everything about this piece. I just love the chipped paint. And of course, there’s the deer again! I’ll add a little wreath and it will be ready for my Christmas decor.
Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back again with the Deck the Home Blog Hop on Monday. We’ll be making DIY gifts, so you don’t want to miss it!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
