Celebrate Your Story! #209

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Happy Monday and welcome back to Celebrate Your Story!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families.  Now that it’s December, the Christmas countdown has begun!  I’m really enjoying all of the great holiday content out there this year.  It makes it so hard to choose just 6 features.

But first, let me show you what I’ve been up to this past week.

Rustic Plaid Woodland Christmas Tree

Rustic Log Bundle DIY Ornament

Now, let’s get the party started!

Debbie from Debbie-Dabble Blog loves Christmas so much she has a second blog devoted just to Christmas decor!  You can see how this lovely wreath she got at a church sale almost a decade ago has evolved over the years at A Debbie-Dabble Christmas.

My favorite past time is hunting for treasures at estate sales, so I loved this post from Ann of The Apple Street Cottage.  I would’ve bought most of the same items.  She went back to this estate sale 4 times…a girl after my own heart!

I want a slice of this pie right now.  Seriously.  I love blueberries and it’s an easy no bake recipe.  I can’t wait to try this yummy recipe from Lenny of Fat Dad Foodie.

Penny from Penny’s Vintage Home gives us a tour of her outdoor patio decorated for Christmas.  I love those huge trees flanking the mantel, the plaid throw blankets and the pinecone topiaries.  She got those fabulous huge silver ornaments at a tag sale, too!

These dinner rolls from Nora of Treat and Trick look so good!  I’ve always wanted to make bread, and this recipe looks perfect for a beginner.  I’m also intrigued that it includes cocoa powder and instant coffee!

Stefanie from The Style Safari made these plates using fabric and Mod Podge!  I’m mad for plaid, and these plates are just perfect for the holidays.  I also love seeing Stefanie, who’s a talented fashion designer, stepping out and doing a craft project!

The most clicked link of the week is the second part of a home tour from Rachelle of My Hubbard Home.  I’m in love with these decorated plates that she hung on the wall, especially since the pattern (Old British Castles from Johnson Brothers) is the one I use every day.  How festive and beautiful!

By the way, the Christmas Tablescape Blog Hop, hosted by Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate, started today!  You can start the hop over at A casa di Bianca.  New tables will go live each day this week, including mine on Thursday.

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!

My table for Christmas is a subdued plaid, and I may just keep it all winter I love it so much. Thank you for inviting us in!
