Celebrate Your Story! #304

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Happy New Year friends! I hope you all had wonderful holiday celebrations with your families!

I’m very excited to get started with my goals for 2022! That being said, I’m going to be making some big changes to the blog. I put the new theme on hold until after the new year because I was overwhelmed with the demands of Q4. Now, I finally have the time to tackle the tech stuff and get it done!

The other big change is that I’m going to let this party go…it’s time to take my blog in a new direction and I need the extra time to focus on some new endeavors. I’ve enjoyed hosting this party over the years, and I’ll miss seeing all of your inspiring posts each week! Thank you for your support and for being a part of this party. The friendships I’ve made with fellow bloggers is one of the most rewarding things about this blogging journey 🙂

If you’re interested in taking over the party, please reach out to me ([email protected]) and we can chat. It’s a great opportunity for a new blogger!

Next week will be my last party, so I’d love for you to share one last time!

Now, it’s time for this week’s party!

My 8 year old daughter is obsessed with unicorns, so of course I was drawn to this sweet DIY unicorn pillow. Helen from Hello Sewing shared this easy to follow tutorial. I love the ruffled peach colored satin mane!

Julie from My Wee Abode designs the cutest watercolor printables. She has a trio of winter cabins and cottages available for her readers to print and display. I love that these transition easily from holiday to winter decor!

I’m intrigued by this cake recipe from Meinhilde of Kiku Corner. I’ve never heard of a cake made with cardamom and saffron! The recipe was inspired by the flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine, which I love. I can’t wait to try it!

I was so inspired by this clever and budget friendly DIY shared by Niki from Life as a LEO Wife. She made light up wrapped gift boxes out of Dollar Store frames. I’m going to remember this next year for my outdoor decor!

Here’s another holiday DIY that you can enjoy all winter long. Jennifer from The Everyday Farmhouse made some cinnamon scented pinecones along with orange pomanders and dried apple and orange slices. They look pretty displayed in bowls and make the house smell amazing!

This Alice in Wonderland themed headboard is so adorable! I love that color of blue and the stripes on top. Shannon from Wise Little Owl Furniture is such a talented furniture artist. You’ve got to see how it looked before!

The most clicked link of the week is from Lynne of Thrifting Wonderland. I love her blog name, by the way! She shared her latest thrift store haul. I love this set of blue and white placemats and napkins!

If you’ve been featured this week or any other time at CYS, please feel free to grab a button to post on your blog!

Thank you to everyone for sharing, and congratulations to all of the featured bloggers!  I had so much fun reading your posts and discovering new to me blogs.  Don’t forget to link up your new posts to have a chance to be featured next week at Celebrate Your Story!

I’m sad to say this fun party goodbye, but I wish you luck with your future endeavors.
I’m also going to change the (old clunky) theme of my blog but I’ve been soo snowed under that I’ll probably start working on this in February.
