Celebrate Your Story! #283

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hey there friends! It’s an exciting week here at our house…my daughter is going back to school tomorrow!!! Since everyone in my family has been vaccinated, and with minimal COVID cases reported at the elementary schools, we decided to let her complete the remainder of the school year in person. She is beyond excited! I’m also looking forward to going out for coffee with my best friend, Meredith and hitting some thrift shops. We haven’t done that together for well over a year. I can’t wait 🙂

Here’s what I was up to last week:

Vintage Style Patriotic Home Decor

Now, let’s start the party!

I’m obsessed with this cool collection of vintage treasures! Kristi from French Creek Farmhouse shared her lovely Spring Home Tour. Check out her post to see the rest of her cozy farmhouse styled for Spring!

Don’t you just love peonies? I sure do! Rachelle from My Hubbard Home has some great tips to keep your beautiful cut peonies fresh and she shares her secret to extending the blooming period!

Estelle from Homemade on a Weeknight has created the perfect summer meal…a Dill Shrimp Salad Sandwich! This light salad has a greek yogurt and dijon mustard dressing, plus celery, cucumber, red onion and Old Bay Seasoning. I’ll definitely be making some of these soon!

Did you know that May 20th was World Bee Day? Denise from My Home of All Seasons designed a fun Bee Themed Tiered Tray. It looks so bright and happy in her kitchen!

I’m absolutely swooning over this Citrus Themed Tablescape from Renae of Peacock Ridge Farm. You’ve got to see the wisteria growing on her gorgeous outdoor dining pavilion. She can seat 16-20 people in this amazing space!

I’m loving the understated patriotic decor on this pew bench. This look can be enjoyed all summer long. MaryJo from Masterpieces of my Life and I think the same way…she used a red white and blue bag of rice in her decor, while I used a vintage red, white and blue box of chalk in my Patriotic Tiered Tray!

The most clicked link of the week is from Rita of Panoply. She shared a year’s worth of vintage finds that went into her antique booth. I loved seeing all of this old barware…it’s very Mad Men! Check out the post to see the rest!
