Celebrate Your Story! #279

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome back friends! I hope you’re having a great week so far. I feel like life is finally starting to feel a little bit more normal, now that most of my family and friends have been vaccinated. My daughter had a real birthday party with a few of her friends, and it was wonderful! Yes, people were still wearing masks, but it sure beat a virtual or drive by party. I hope your lives are starting to feel a little more normal, too.

Here’s what I was up to last week:

Pottery Barn Inspired Faux Textured Clay Vase DIY
How to Make a DIY Concrete Bowl Planter

Now, let’s get this party started!

I’m obsessed with the mosaic floor tile in Marie from My Dear Casa‘s kitchen! Her two part post shows how she and her husband completed the whole floor remodel themselves. Wait until you see how her kitchen looked before!

Ann from The Apple Street Cottage shared the cutest chair makeover. I love the decoupaged details and the sweet pink cushion with bows! Can you believe this chair started out as a $2 thrift store find with no seat?

Salmon is my favorite fish, and I love trying new salmon recipes. Claire from Claire Justine shared this pan-fried salmon recipe that features a watercress sauce that looks so good. I can’t wait to try it!

This flamingo themed tablescape designed by Beth from Whispers of the Heart makes me smile! It’s so bright and happy. I really love the yellow bamboo flatware!

Niki from Life as an LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) Wife was inspired by Pottery Barn when she created this summer lantern. Of course, her DIY coastal lantern doesn’t come with a Pottery Barn price tag! I love her weathered lantern and the seashells.

Step inside this dreamy (and large) master bathroom! Renae from Peacock Ridge Farm did an amazing job with her bathroom remodel. It’s hard to believe this space once had wall to wall dark green carpeting!

The most clicked link of the week is this adorable Wind in the Willows themed birthday party from Cheryl of Sew Can Do. I loved this show as a kid! Cheryl really nailed the look!
