Celebrate Your Story! #245

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Hello, sweet friends! Welcome back to the party. I hope you’re all doing well during these challenging times. My daughter goes “back” to school a week from today. I’m setting up the dining room table as a virtual work space. It will be a different type of a start to the school year, but we’re going to make the best of it. What else can we do, right?

Here’s what I was up to last week:

How to Paint a Side Table Shabby Chic Style

Now, let’s start the party!

Cindy from Country Road 407 shared an update on how her chalk painted table is holding up two years later. She has a great tip for removing scratches and smudges. I just love that farmhouse tablescape!

This Asian style pasta salad with chicken looks delicious! Michele from Cook, Clean Repeat shared this healthy recipe. I bet the leftovers taste just as good!

Helen from Hello Sewing came up with a great idea…a mask carrying pouch that clips to your keyring or purse. No more “Darn, I forgot my mask” moments. Check out her blog for the pattern and instructions.

If you’re looking to decorate for fall on a budget, check out this mantel from Allyson of Southern Sunflowers. She used Dollar Tree florals and a thrifted frame with a free fall printable. It doesn’t get thriftier than that!

Every fall, my hunt for white pumpkins begins. I was thrilled to see that Lisa from Fresh Vintage by Lisa S grew a bounty of them herself (and by accident, nonetheless!). This has inspired me to try growing my own next year.

Have you ever heard of banana split cookies? Well, now you have! These were created by Cindy of Cindy’s Online Recipe Box. The secret ingredient is banana pudding mix…they must be so moist and yummy!

The most clicked link of the week is this bathroom remodel from Jolena of While I Linger. The transformation is amazing! I love the shower curtain, too 🙂
