Dollar Tree Spring Wreath Simple DIY
This Dollar Tree Spring Wreath is embarrassingly easy and inexpensive to make! The simple, minimal design is perfect for your Spring and Summer door decor.
It’s time for the February edition of the Thrifty Style Team. It may still be winter, but us bloggers are thinking about Spring! My creative friends and I have some early Spring ideas to share this month. A big thank you to our hostess, Julie from Redhead can Decorate, for organizing each month. Make sure to visit all of the blogs at the end of this post for plenty of Spring inspiration!
How to Make a Spring Wreath with Wire Frame
You only need a few supplies to make this wreath, all of which can be found at Dollar Tree
- 18 inch wire wreath frame
- 1 roll of solid color ribbon that coordinates with faux florals
- 3 stems of faux florals (I used hydrangea)
- 6 large faux leaves
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
Step 1.
Secure ribbon to the underside of the wire wreath form with hot glue.
Step 2.
Wrap the ribbon around the entire wreath form. When finished, secure in place with hot glue underneath.
Step 3.
Hot glue 3 faux hydrangea blooms to the wreath
Step 4.
Hot glue 3 large leaves on each side of the hydrangea stems.
Done! This wreath came out totally different than I’d planned. I was going to entirely cover the ribbon with florals, but decided that I liked the navy blue color and simplicity.
I considered adding a bow, but it didn’t go with the simple, minimal look that I’d created. (By the way, if you like minimalist decor, check out this Macrame Spring Wreath). I hope you’ve been inspired to make a Dollar Tree Spring Wreath of your own!

Rebecca your wreath is simple perfect. I love the minimal style you used in creating your Spring wreath., it’s beautiful.
Rebecca (you didn’t change your name to Rachel did you? 😆), you nailed it, or should I say, hung it! I love your blue door, and this wreath is gorgeous with the hydrangea. I agree that I love the simplicity, and I need one for my door RN because I have last month’s v day one out there!
Typically I am not a fan of blue, but my neighbour has a blue wreath and I love it. I really like the dark blue on the back of this wreath, it almost reminds me of jeans. Very pretty craft.
Your wreath is beautiful! I love the colors, too, so chic.
