Celebrate Your Story! #228

Celebrate Your Story! Link Party

Welcome back, friends. Is it just me, or does it seem like a long time ago that life was normal? It’s only been since the second week of March, yet it feels like so much longer. My daughter’s backpack sits on the bench by the door where she left it after her last day of school. We’ve settled into a new routine for what will now be the foreseeable future.

But, we’re safe, which is all that matters. I hope you’re all doing well, too. I know I’ll never take the “little” things for granted again. Can you imagine how wonderful it will feel to go out for lunch with a friend, shop at the thrift store, and attend church? Thinking of the day when I can do those things again is what keeps me going!

Now, time to party!

CoCo from The Crowned Goat has a 5 minute tutorial for making faux topiaries! Aren’t these beautiful? And they look so real!

Fabby from Fabby’s Living set a lovely bird themed luncheon tablescape. The plates are adorable and I love the bird tureen!

Looking for a sweet treat? Carol from Blue Sky at Home shared her husband’s favorite lemon icebox pie. She even used meyer lemons from her own tree!

It’s almost time to start planting veggies, and Chas from Chas’ Crazy Creations is ready! Check out her 5 unique ways to make your own garden markers.

This is one of the coolest things ever! Kristin from White Arrows Home painted her TV trays to resemble vintage camp stools. Love it!

This watercolor just makes me smile! Jenna from The Painted Apron created this from an inspiration photo. She provides a step by step tutorial so you can try to paint one, too!

The most clicked link of the week is from Dee of Grammy’s Grid. She has started a new series for bloggers, and there is some helpful information in her post. I look forward to seeing the next four posts!
