This red velvet bundt cake is moist, rich and delicious! By adding just a few extra ingredients to boxed cake mix, you can create a decadent dessert that tastes like it came from a bakery. A perfect cake for Valentine's Day, birthdays and other occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix 15-18 ounces
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix 3.4 ounces
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil may also use canola oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to temperature listed on the cake mix box
  • Grease and flour the bundt pan.
  • Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  • Beat with an electric mixer until smooth
  • Pour batter into the bundt pan.
  • Bake for time listed on the cake mix box. The cake is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cake cool completely, then frost and decorate as desired.
