Celebrate Your Story! Link Party
Welcome to another party, my friends! I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend with your families. Today, I’m going to tell the sad tale of a craft fail…unfortunately, I’m sure many of you can relate. Why does this always happen when you’re on a deadline? My concrete planter project broke apart before I could style and photograph it for my blog post. I had to bow out of a blog hop, which was the most disappointing. Oh well. I plan to try it again tomorrow. I’ll let you know next week if I have better luck!
Now, let’s get to the party!
Wendy from My French Twist shared the most unique wreath / centerpiece. It’s called Paaskrans, which is a type of Easter wreath that’s popular in Holland and Germany. I just love all of the natural elements – grapevine, moss, feathers and eggshells.
Have you been decluttering? If so, you may be wondering what to do with all of your unwanted stuff. Jenna from Life of an Earth Muffin shared some great suggestions, whether you want to make some extra money or give to charity.
I’ve been trying to add more vegetables into my family’s diet, so I was happy to see this pork and fennel pasta sauce recipe from Meinhilde of Kiku Corner. It’s packed with veggies including eggplant, carrots, celery, mushrooms and tomatoes. Healthy and delicious!
I love these cute kid’s masks that T’onna from Sew Crafty Crochet made for her kiddos. She shared links to the pattern and the source for comfortable and adjustable elastic earlobes. My daughter would love the Wonder Woman styles!
It’s always fun to take a virtual tour of the unique places that Patrick from Adventures in Weseland visits. This week he went to the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It’s the 3rd most visited park in America! I loved hearing that a portion of the park was renamed after the late actor Robin Williams.
Denise from My Home of All Seasons shared six ways to create a spring or Easter centerpiece. My favorite idea is to use fresh produce. This “bouquet” of carrots is so clever!
The most clicked link of the week is from Claire of Pillar Box Blue. She is the queen of denim crafts and upcycling. These denim coasters are so fabulous! Plus, you can make them without a sewing machine or even a needle and thread!
